Precognitive Dreams - you have them too!
I’ve lost count of the number of people who’ve told me they “never have” prophetic dreams.
The truth is, we ALL have prophetic - or precognitive - dreams. Dreams of the Future.
All the time. Most people just don’t remember them.
Many precognitive dreams are very simple, of no apparent importance.
So what’s the point of them?
Often, a trivial dream of the future is given to us simply to Get Our Attention.
To make us realise - hmmmm, if I can dream about something so trivial… Maybe, I can also dream of something much more important - life-changing perhaps.
I had one this morning. I woke up at 5:30am to heavy rain and felt disappointed as it meant I would miss the 6:15 walk to the Byron lighthouse I’d scheduled to catch up with a friend. I went back to sleep and between then and 6:45, when my alarm rang, I dreamed I was greeting her at the start of the walk and saying “Thank goodness we didn’t cancel, because the sun’s come out!”
When I awoke and saw her message saying let’s cancel due to bad weather, I replied that I was still going. So she braved up and agreed to take a chance, and sure enough, the rain stopped as we were greeting each other and we got our gorgeous walk together.
If I hadn’t had the dream - I would have cancelled and missed that magical start to my day.
So then, when something important does appear to us in a dream, we are far more likely to pay attention. To look at it more closely, take it seriously and do a reality check (is there any chance that any part of this dream could play out in my waking reality? Could it be a warning of some sort? Or a clue about how to tap into something awesome!).
Then we can take action to honour it - either to work towards something great happening (a new romance, job, opportunity etc) or to avoid something bad happening to us - or someone we know.
